Yesterday was our third child, Betsy’s birthday. We had the grandbabies over and John and Donald took them to the park. Betsy, Sabrina and Danny joined them. Here are some pics which I hope will show up. Here’s the Birthday Girl. Hell, at 25 I guess she’s not a “child” LOL! Here are also some shots of Madison, Ruby (not just walking, but running) her Daddy (Donald), Danny and Sabrina playing basketball, and “Pop” on the slide. Grandma had to work on a brief she had a complete blank on (aarrgghhh). Well it was a workday!
And a good time was had by all – except for the raccoon who wandered into one of our garbage bins overnight and was almost hit on the head with a new bag o’ trash.
Today is John’s brother, Tom’s birthday. He has one more year before the big “six-oh” whoo hoo. Just numbers, right…
The brief is done, but I’m not happy with it. I am also not happy to have gotten myself into a flame war with another employee of the firm. Not usually my style, but I felt I had to step in because others were getting upset and I can’t let that be. ‘Nuff said. Hopefully it won’t come back and bite me in the nether regions!
I know I’m not supposed to start any new projects, but I decided to join up with the Project Spectrum crew. August is the month for neutrals, so I figured I could use the grey I got for the FLAK and finally get that started this month. That way, something interesting will be waiting in the wings for me in September. Of course by then, PS will be on to a new color. Just think, by next summer I’ll have 12 UFOs (as if!).
